Beth London is an East Coast painter whose work inhabits the liminal space between the real and the timeless. A native of New York, she now paints from her studio in rural Liberty, Maine, surrounded by the forests, fields, and coastal light that infuse her canvases.

Deeply inspired by Andrew and N.C. Wyeth, Beth carries forward their legacy of atmosphere, story, and reverence for place. Years of study with a Maine master painter—himself trained under Nelson Shanks and Andrew Wyeth—gave her a foundation in classical oil technique. She has continued to refine her work through independent study of past and present masters.

Working primarily in oil, Beth also draws on watercolor and charcoal to explore themes of mystery, memory, and dream. Her paintings have been exhibited in group shows throughout the region. Between the Seams was honored as a finalist in the Art Renewal Center’s International Salon, and her work is held in private collections across the United States.

Beth’s vision as an artist is to create a space where viewers can wander—between nature and imagination, shadow and light—and discover reflections of their own inner world.
